Barb Clapp, President and CEO of Clapp Communications in Baltimore, Md., was recognized as one of the Daily Record’s 2017 Influential Marylanders on Thursday, March 23.

According to the Daily Record, Influential Marylanders was created to honor individuals who have made significant impacts in their field and continue to be leaders in Maryland. These individuals are selected by The Daily Record’s editors for their significant contributions to their respective fields and for their leadership in Maryland in the following areas: civic leadership, communications, education, finance, freestyle, general business, health care, law, philanthropy, real estate and technology. Three-time winners are inducted into the Circle of Influence.
Barb brings more than 30 years of advertising, marketing and business development expertise to her agency, which she founded in 2001, and currently specializes in public relations, media buying, and marketing. The firm currently serves a wide variety of healthcare, education, non-profit, development and professional services firms.
In 2012, 2014, 2016, Barb was also named The Daily Record’s Most Admired CEO, and The Daily Record Most Admired CEO Circle of Excellence in 2016.
